Job Description

Onebeat is seeking an experienced Back-End Team Leader to lead and mentor a team of four developers. In this role, your primary focus will be ensuring the quality and timely delivery of features by leading the team, reviewing code, and collaborating with the Product team. You will act as the technical authority, ensuring the team follows best practices and consistently delivers high-quality solutions. Although this is not a hands-on coding role, a deep understanding of back-end technologies is crucial, and you should be a go-to person for technical queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 4 back-end developers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
Collaborate with the Product team to define project goals and ensure smooth delivery of features.
Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to best coding practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Act as the back-end technical authority, solving complex issues and guiding architectural decisions.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by maintaining strong development processes.
Build a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team environment.
Provide strategic input on technical solutions and system architecture improvements.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Back-End Team Leader or in a similar leadership role.
Expertise in Ruby on Rails at least Rails 6.
Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive leadership approach.

Experience working in an Agile environment, leading teams through sprints and product iterations.
